Four Men and a Baby!
Phoscrete is proud to welcome four new team members and a new baby to the Phoscrete family!
Starting with the most important first, Hazel June was born Monday, June 28, and Erica is away on maternity leave. Filling in for her is our new office operations manager, Jorge Giro. Jorge was born in Miami, lived in Panama until age 8 and grew up here in South Florida. Completing his degree program in Economics, Jorge is quickly becoming an indispensable Phoscrete team member. Jorge’s key responsibility is to ensure timely delivery of quality, consistent Phoscrete products to our customers, and keep our operations running smooth.
Ismael Avilas grew up in Puerto Rico, and earned his BSc Engineering degree from UPR. He relocated to Georgia where he raised his family and grew his business in the ready mix concrete market. He relocated to South Florida in 2019 and found a home with Phoscrete as a Sales Engineer. He services and supports Phoscrete sales in the Gulf states including Texas, plus the Caribbean.
Adam Hales joined Phoscrete as a Sales Engineer this month. He grew up in Colorado and Salt Lake City and earned his degree in Communications and Business from Dixie State University in Utah. We met Adam at TSP-2 Bridge conferences where he worked for Metal Fatigue Solutions. In addition to his duties at Phoscrete supporting sales in the Western states, he coaches high school football at Roy High in Northern Utah. He is newly-wed.
